Tips before you use eConsult! Do not use the back button, it is a secure server and it will clear the form you have just spent time completing. Gather anything you think you may need to add to your eConsult form, medication (inc anything you are using to self-medicate). The following types of consultation you can add a photograph to: Adults: acne, athlete’s foot, bites and stings, contact dermatitis, eczema, rash, stye, warts and verrucae. Paeds: conjunctivitis/sticky eye, eczema, hives/urticaria, impetigo, rash, ringworm, warts and verrucae. You will need to leave an email address so the clinician can contact you also. Welcome to Newbury Street Practice
This year we will be writing to patients to invite you to come in for a flu vaccination. We will have clinics on Saturday mornings from 9-1pm based in Village Halls locally. Your individual clinic letter will give you all the details regarding where to go and your time slot. The clinics will be split up into half hour timeslots so that we can control the volume of people arriving. Clinics start on the 19th Sept and will run every weekend through to the 7th November. We have worked hard this year to ensure you can come to your flu clinic and feel safe. The Ray Collins Charitable Trust have kindly agreed to assist us to help with parking and queueing outside the venues. We will also be running smaller in hours clinics at the health centre. Please be patient, your letters will be going out soon and we will be adding reminders to our facebook page. Some of the smaller clinics will be called via text message as this enables a quicker delivery for us. You do not need to let us know if you cannot attend a clinic. You will be offered a mop up clinic which will be arranged when all of the ordinary clinics are called. Thank you for your patience.
All appointments are currently only bookable on the day. You will need to ring the practice or use the EConsult system. If you get a letter inviting you in for a review then please try to attend if you can. If you need to speak to a Healthcare professional (GP/Nurse etc.) they will initially call you back and advise if you can be helped over the phone or offered a face to face appointment or video consultation depending on your clinical need. This is in line with the Practice maintaining Covid safety for all patients and staff
